Child sexual abuse: Advice for social workers

Community Care has published advice for social workers working in the area of child sexual abuse (CSA), particularly when abuse is suspected but not ‘proven’.

Tips include: sexual abuse is never the fault of the child or young person who has been abused; intervening as early as possible when there are concerns about sexual abuse is key; using peer and supervisory support is key to keeping healthy in your work.
