Coram Voice and the University of Bristol’s survey of more than 2,600 foster children found:
- Almost 50% of 4 to 7 year-olds haven’t had the reason for them being care fully explained to them
- Over 30% of 8 to 11-year olds felt they hadn’t had the reason they were in care explained to them
- 18% of 11-18 year olds also felt they had been left in the dark
