The purpose of this Confidentiality Policy is to identify the principles that must be observed by all who work within the provision of Fosterline and have access to person-identifiable information or confidential information. All staff are made aware of their responsibilities for safeguarding confidentiality and preserving information security. All employees working within Fosterline are bound by a legal duty of confidence to protect personal information they may come into contact with during the course of their work.
The purpose of the Data Protection Policy is to clarify the internal allocation of responsibilities and duties in respect of the Data Protection Act 1998 and to set out the structure within which they will be discharged. All staff within Fosterline who process and collect personal data must comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you wish to request a copy of personal information held about you by Fosterline you will need to make a Subject Access Request. This should be done in writing, either by letter or email to email@example.com stating that you are making a Subject Access Request. Your letter or email will be acknowledged and a ‘Subject Access Request form’ emailed or posted to you on the next working day.

The purpose of the Safeguarding Children Policy is to set a clear protocol of action and a framework for Fosterline staff’s responsibilities and legal duties in relation to each child’s welfare. The intention is to ensure a reliable and effective response in the event of any concern for a child’s welfare, and to support each child and each family.

The intention is to ensure a reliable and effective response in the event of any concern for an adult’s welfare, and to support each adult.
Representation and Complaints
The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework for dealing with complaints, comments and compliments. Fosterline’s policy aims to ensure users of the service know where and how to complain and have easy access to the Fosterline Representation and Complaints procedure. Fosterline aims to respond to service users feedback in a consistent and professional manner, using the procedure to shape our services.
