If a Foster Carer is assessed as an Adopter for a child they are fostering at what point does Fostering Allowance Stop? Is it when they become approved Adopters following Panel or when the Adoption Order is made by the Court?

I think the allowance would normally continue until the adoption order was made as the child would still be a ‘Child in Care’ prior to this point however you may wish to contact ‘First4Adoption’ to check this is correct.
