FosterTalk has delivered Fosterline on behalf of the Department of Education in England since June 2013 and since that time we have been supported by a number of “Friends of Fosterline” including foster carers, fostering services staff and managers, local community groups and celebrities who have helped us raise awareness of fostering and raise much needed funds for the future sustainability of Fosterline.
FosterTalk is committed to ensuring that Fosterline can continue to be provided as a free to use service for foster carers and those interested in fostering and so FosterTalk set up the Fosterline Foundation in 2014 in order to raise funds to ensure the future sustainability of the service.
The Fosterline Foundation was launched by The Children’s Minister Edward Timpson at the FosterTalk Foster Carer Awards ceremony in October 2014 and the Foundation is supported by a number of friends of Fosterline including celebrity chef Lorraine Pascale, Debbie Douglas and Lydia Bright from TOWIE.
Friends of Fosterline
If you would like to become a Friend of Fosterline you can help us in many ways, such as placing Fosterline Posters in public spaces in your local community such as libraries, doctor’s surgeries, community centres, schools and nurseries. You could fundraise for Fosterline by organising a local event such as a tea party or a bring and buy sale, or you could do something adventurous such as a sky dive!
Check out the links to see what other Friends of Fosterline have been doing and if you feel like lending a hand, then drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us all about your plans. Fosterline will publish photographs of Friends so send them in to show us what you’re doing, we look forward to hearing from you.
