Edward Timpson, Children’s Minister, congratulates FosterTalk on being awarded the contract to deliver Fosterline England from 25 June 2013.
Mr Timpson, whose own parents fostered 87 children, said: “Fosterline is an important confidential and impartial source of advice and support for foster carers and those who are interested in fostering. With 67,000 children needing care we must ensure we have as many people from as many backgrounds, coming forward to foster as possible.
“I grew up in a foster family and so I know at times it can be challenging, so it is important that foster carers have access to as much information and support as they need. I believe that Fosterline is a valuable and essential resource that will help to meet this need.”
