Description

When a child or young person is taken into care, the first priority is to support their family so they can go back home safely. But for some it just isn’t possible. At Diagrama we find a new home for the most vulnerable children and young people – where they’re safe and can start to enjoy life again.
That’s why being a foster carer is so important. You can give a vulnerable child or young person the support they need at a time when they need it most. You can offer them a brighter future.
There are different forms of foster care designed to meet the different needs of children and their families – including emergency fostering, short term fostering, long term fostering and respite.

Every child or young person is different – from experiences and ethnicity to personality and interests. So, to find the right match for the children and young people we support, we recruit carers from all walks of life.
Our foster carers are all ages, singles or couples. They might have professional or therapeutic backgrounds. Or they might be parents whose children have left home. But the main thing we look for is the right skills, attitude and energy to do the job. We are looking for people who will be consistent in providing care and who won’t give up on them.
Come and meet our friendly team at the Ardington Hotel and find out how you can make a difference to the life of a vulnerable child. We’ll explain what’s involved in the application process, more about the professional (FREE) training you’ll receive and how we will offer you 24/7 support so that you will never face any challenges with fostering on your own. Alternatively call us on 0800 802 1910 or email fostering@diagrama.org
