The national Adoption Register for England has undergone re-development and has been renamed as ‘Adoption Match’.
Adoption Match is described as a complete national matching service, incorporating a dedicated Business Partner for each region and a number of tools including Exchange Days and Adoption Activity Days. Adoption Match also runs the Adoption Register for England on behalf of the Department for Education.
The newly launched Adoption Match website offers information tailored to Adopters and Professionals and includes news about the Adopter and Practitioner Access Pilot involving 28 agencies that will open up access to the Adoption Register and allow adopters and social workers to directly search for matches.
