The Department for Education (DfE) has published adoption scorecards for the year ending March 2018 for England. Measures include: the average time between a child entering care and moving in with their adoptive family in 2015-18 was 486 days and there were 1,600 approved adoptive families waiting to be matched as at 31 March 2018.
