The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Adoption and Permanence (APPGAP) has published a report following their inquiry into the future of post-adoption support in England.

Recommendations following 1,600 responses from an online survey of stakeholders, including a survey of 247 children and young people who have accessed support through the fund, include: the Adoption Support Fund should carry on until at least 2030 so that families know that they can get the support they need; and families should be able to apply for therapy for periods longer than the current one-year limit to make sure that support does not stop suddenly.
