The Rees Centre at the University of Oxford has published a report following a study that aimed to develop an outcomes framework for children’s social care services  based on the views of those who plan, deliver and use these services, as well as the research evidence. A framework has been designed to help local authorities to make well-informed decisions about service planning and delivery.

The outcomes framework shows how a combination of new and existing data could help local authorities to understand how well their children’s social care services are doing and what difference they make to children and their families.
