The Information Commissioner’s Office has launched a consultation on a new set of standards that online services must meet to ensure that they are appropriate for use by children. “Age appropriate design: a code of practice for online services” sets out 16 standards expected of those responsible for designing, developing or providing online services and apps that are likely to be accessed by children and which will process their data.

Closing date: 31 May 2019

Further details and links to the consultation documents can be found on the ICO website.
