Today 25th June sees Fosterline celebrate the 1st anniversary launch of the website.
A year ago today the website was launched alongside the delivery of Fosteline being awarded by the Department for Education to FosterTalk. The website is the first impartial information site to collate the relevant information for Foster Carers and Prospective Foster Carers in England, to provide advice information and support for those already in the role of fostering and those thinking of fostering.
Fosterline celebrated in style by holding an afternoon tea event providing information about the service and the feedback received from users over the past year. Facts and figures were shared along with cakes sandwiches and tea in the setting of Avoncroft museum. Attendees were also informed of the launch of the Fosterline Foundation and invited to join in by promoting the fundraising to help sustain this vital service to those at the coal face of fostering.
