The UK is experiencing a shortage of skilled foster carers and Fosterline England was set up to improve the access to information for people who are considering fostering as well as those who are already fostering.

In November 2019, Fosterline England launched their new website which features an online chat, fostering assessment quiz, up to date information on fostering events nationally and downloadable resources including a useful fostering guide. The site is intended to be an information portal for those considering fostering as well as those who are already fostering – providing a one-stop-shop for all information and guidance related to fostering.

Fosterline continues to play a fundamental role in encouraging the recruitment and retention of foster carers in England by providing a responsive advice and support service that is staffed by well-informed helpline advisors who understand fostering and the fostering role.

Sharon Thompson, Fosterline Co-Ordinator comments, “we’re thrilled to be launching the new Fosterline website, which we hope will further improve the service that we are offering to foster carers and those considering fostering. People who visit the site will now have access to even more information at the click of a button.”

If you’re a foster carer or considering fostering you can call 0800 040 7675 and speak to a Fosterline advisor or visit the new website: fosterline.info

Fosterline England is funded by the Department for Education and delivered by FosterTalk.
