The Fosterline Foundation was launched by the Childrens and Family Minister Mr Edward Timpson during the FosterTalk Foster Carer Awards.
The awards celebrated 10 foster carers of note that represented the fantastic role foster carers perform year after year. These carers are very special and have wonderful stories of dedicated people doing a difficult job to support the best outcomes for the children and young people in their care. Lorraine Pascale was also on hand to present the awards to the foster carers and pledged her support to the Fosterline Foundation.
FosterTalk deliver the Fosterline advisory service for foster carers and prospective carers in England and felt the awards were a fitting setting to launch the Fosterline Foundation, with its aims to help sustain the free service and to engage in activities to ultimately promote better outcomes for children.
Steven Stockley the Co-ordinator of Fosterline presented information on how the service had supported foster carers over the past year and had provided information and signposting to also encourage further recruits to the fostering role. FosterTalk are extremely proud and grateful to both the minister and Loraine for their support in raising the profile of foster carers and supporting Fosterline and the Fosterline Foundation.
