Does the ‘Mum’ in your family deserve a treat?

Fosterline Foundation would love to hear how the ‘Mum’ in your family has helped and supported you.    Just write between 50 and 200 words and tell us why the ‘Mum’ in your family deserves to be spoilt, sending a photo of something that represents your ‘Mum’ in with it too. This photo or drawing could be of her favourite place, food, hobby or activity.

The winning entry will win gorgeous flowers, a signed cook book by TV celebrity chef Lorraine Pascale and a certificate of appreciation from us.

As Oprah Winfrey said: “biology is the least of what makes someone a mother.” The ‘Mum’ in your family does not have to be the woman that carried you for nine months but the person who cares for you, loves you and supports you.

 

Mothering Sunday Competition – Terms and Conditions

The ‘Mum’ in your family can be: your birth mother, step mother, Kinship Foster Carer, foster carer, adoptive Mum or other special person who looks after you.

There is no limit to the number of nominations an individual can submit but you can’t nominate yourself.

Your ‘words’ can be in any form such as a story or poem but must be in English, legible and within the word count i.e. 50 to 200 words.

The decision of the judging panel is final in every situation, is that of Fosterline Foundation in all matters affecting the competition, and no correspondence on this topic will be entered into.

The winner and any runners up will be featured on Fosterline/Foundation’s website/Facebook page and we may request a photograph for this purpose.

All entries need to arrive at Fosterline Foundation by 12 noon on Wednesday 11th March 2015 latest.  You need to provide an address for us to send the winning ‘Mum’ their prizes.

Employees of FosterTalk are not eligible to enter the competition.

Entry to Fosterline Foundation’s Mothering Sunday Competition is deemed acceptance of these rules and agreement to be bound by them. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to our general website terms and conditions.

If you do not have a response to the competition by Saturday 14th March 2015, your entry has not been successful.
