The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government has published a Rough Sleeping Strategy, setting out the government’s plans to help people who are sleeping rough and to put in place structures to meet the vision of halving rough sleeping by 2022 and ending it by 2027.

The strategy includes plans to support care leavers by employing specialist personal advisers to provide intensive support to the most at-risk care leavers, and by piloting, from Autumn 2018, three Social Impact Bonds for care leavers, which will include accommodation outcomes.

Full details can be found in the strategy document published on the Gov.uk website.
