Fosterline Manager, Steven Stockley and Melody Douglas, Managing Director of FosterTalk were delighted to meet Sajid Javid, The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government at FosterTalk’s office in Bromsgrove on Friday 22nd July 2016.

 

The Bromsgrove MP visited FosterTalk to give his personal congratulations to Steve and Melody on consecutively securing a prestigious further two year contract to deliver Fosterline England, a government-funded advice service for foster carers and anyone interested in fostering.

 

Steven Stockley told Mr Javid: “After using our service, foster carers’ comment to us that that they feel calmer, reassured, informed and empowered. Likewise, those who are thinking of fostering feel more knowledgeable about the assessment process and understand what their next step should be. I am very proud to manage Fosterline as I believe it is a vital and valuable helpline.”

 

The Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP said:

“It is absolutely right that Government supports the many amazing people who provide foster care for children across the country. I’m delighted a Bromsgrove organisation has been awarded this significant contract – twice! Visiting today, it was encouraging to learn about their support for those who give so much.”
