When you are taking children and young people on holiday this summer it is important to remember that the same safer care principles and precautions that apply within the home, remain applicable whilst on holiday. If your foster child or young person is going on holiday without you, arrangements should be approved and agreed by the child’s social worker and your supervising social worker. Holidays abroad however need more preparation and planning.
