The Department for Education has published a research report providing evidence on transgender awareness in social work education and training, transgender awareness amongst child and family social workers and transgender people’s experiences of child and family social work in England.
The research was based on a rapid evidence review, content analysis of a sample of HCPC-approved Higher Education social work courses in England and semi-structured telephone interviews with four groups of respondents.
