YouTube have promised to ban dangerous or harmful pranks to protect the community and children from “severe emotional distress.”
This is in response to so-called “challenges” that have sometimes resulted in death or injury appearing on the platform.
YouTube have said they’re working closely with child psychologists and are prohibiting clips that depict dangerous or emotionally distressing “pranks.”
