The Children’s Society has published the Good Childhood Report 2017, an analysis of data looking at how children’s well-being and happiness is changing over time, and which this year asked about a list of 27 possible problems children and their families faced in the last five years.

The report was produced in partnership with the University of York and reveals the impact of multiple disadvantage, with 53% of teenagers having three or more serious problems to cope with. Children and young people’s happiness is now at its lowest since 2010, and fear of crime is the most commonly reported problem.

Further details and a link to the full and summary reports are provided on the Children’s Society website.
