Edward Timpson Minister of State for Children and Families commended FosterTalk on the delivery of the Fosterline independent advice and support service during his address at the FosterTalk foster carer awards ceremony.

The Minister was unable to attend the award ceremony this year due to his governmental commitments but he was very keen to express his congratulations to the award winners and pay tribute to foster carers in general for their dedication and commitment to some of the most vulnerable children within our society. The minister expressed his and the Department for Educations delight that Fosterline had been able to increase the information provided to individuals from 28,000 during FosterTalks first year delivering Fosterline to over 40,500 individuals from July 2014 to June 2015.

Fosterline continues to be an invaluable source of independent advice and support to current and prospective foster carers complimenting the support offered by fostering services and their social workers and one which the government wishes to see continue and expand in the future.
