The Prime Minister has announced that the UK will now offer sanctuary in the UK to unaccompanied child refugees who were registered in Greece, Italy or France before 20 March 2016. Ministers will consult with local authorities to determine how many children can be resettled and ensure that funding, school places and social service support will be provided.
