The BBC has published research on looked after children living in unregistered accommodation in England. Findings include: the number of looked after children aged 16 and over living in unregistered accommodation in England has increased 70% in the last decade and there are examples of children living in unregulated homes being trafficked and groomed. This research has been done by Newsnight based on data given to the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Missing Children and Adults.
