FosterTalk has published the 4th annual report on their delivery of the Fosterline England support service for current and prospective foster carers, funded by the Department for Education.

The reporting period covers 1st May 2016 to 30th April 2017.

Fosterline sustained it’s commitment to providing impartial and confidential advice to both current and prospective foster carers and actively promoted the need to recruit more foster carers from specific backgrounds to accommodate the children entering into care.

Foster carers are crucial in ensuring the best possible outcomes are afforded to children and young people within the care system. This vocation can be faced with challenges both unexpected and planned for and Fosterline is dedicated to providing advice and support to aid foster carers perform their incredible role.

Enquiries to the service has continued to grow over the past year with the number enquiries from people interested in fostering growing as a result of the #OneMoreHome campaign.
