Girls in care more negative about their future than boys

Girls who are in care feel the stigma of their situation more keenly than boys, are much more likely to worry about their appearance and less likely to enjoy school, a study has revealed. The study found that girls aged 11-18 in care were less likely to say life was worthwhile and were more negative about the future than boys.
