Children and Young People Now reports that the Department for Education (DfE) has committed additional funding to extend the date at which children who are adopted or live under special guardianship arrangements in England can apply for the Adoption Support Fund (ASF).
Applications for the ASF, which enables children and young people to access government-funded therapeutic support, will now close in November 2019.
